I can't help but agree, this game was a disappointment.
Reviews for "Resident Evil Six"
It was definitely tough for me to get through RE6. Near the end of only Leon's campaign it felt if I was just going through the motions. I remember buying RE2 and being afraid to even play the game. With this, RE6, I'm even still afraid to play it. Not for the sheer terror but of the sheer TERROAR!

I've always been frightened by any kind of horror games, but this game have zero fear factor and basically no atmosphere, it felt flat and boring to me.
The animation and voice acting is excellent. The humor is a little stale though. 5/5 just cause i agree that RE6 was really not what i was expecting.
This is also coming from someone who didn't like 5 either. 4 was good but, half way through it just kinda lost the hole zombie apocalypse feel and turned into a mutant battle with like 30 people left alive in the world..kinda crappy story development since 4.

Even if it wasn't that great, i kinda liked re5, because i played it entirely in coop with my brother and it was a lot of fun.

i really think the game dont deserve all the hate...i mean yes it does have negative aspects like shitload of terrible quick-time events. repetitive enemy fights. terrible cover system. and no ability to share items with partner. but it also has good things. i do like the story. the controls are miles better then RE5s. and i do like the action of it.
...however at the first part of the game where it looked he was fapping i tought you tried to complaing about the shitload of fanservice in the game. looks unnecesary boobs jiggle physics. waaay to detailed asses. or deborah...because that fanservice in the game IS BAD.
however i do have alot of fun with the game..i think even more then with re5. of course the game is not nearly as good as re4 not even close.
however i think the game get the most hate because its called "resident evil" not because the game is actually bad. i hope resident evil revalations will save the franchise ...if it dont the serie REALLY needs a reboot .unlike DMC wich didnt need a reboot at all fucking CRAPCOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!
but yeah beside my failure attempt to defende re6. i do like this animation & art style.

I don't know...the controls were better than re5s but the characters still felt too stiff for me.
I think that the game tried too much to please the old fans and new players, becoming an hybrid between an "horror" game and a generic tps that didn't worked out (at least for me).
