Yeah, I can see why your cousin wanted those guns. Both of them are very specific and known to both the Russian and German forces. I don't really understand why the Russian is wearing the gas mask other than that it looks cool. I could be wrong but from what I know they didn't use gas anywhere near as much in WW2 as they did in WW1. In any case I wouldn't blame you for that. Great work however I think the Russian's hand is a bit big in comparison to his head. I have the same problem when I draw people. Draw more WW2 stuff. We don't see much of it and its really fun to see!

thanks man. but just so you know i made the russians arms and legs so big to give him a bulky muscular look and as for how historically correct it is... well to be honest it was never meant to be spot on i wanted to be open to uniform and looks.
the gas mask is just there to look cool

i love them but i use to draw them all the time when i was a kid so i stopped for a while. but now i love them again!
Pretty damn nice
I gotta say this is one of the best things I've seen on the front page. Anyway I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 because it's weird how the Nazi is popping chunks as if he's being shot, however the gun doesn't have any flash and the Russian isn't showing any recoil. While this is an awesome piece, it's very important to use realism when painting guns.
Also to snello, hating nazis is only promoting hate, and "giving power" to the Jews is only empowering bigotry.

ah you are wise.
i was thinking of doing the muzzel flash and the lighting kinda shows that a little bit but then i realised the flash would take away alot of the detail in the gun and the gore.
and whats better

or a lil flashy washey?
besides without the muzzel flash it leaves it more open to your own interpretation maybe he has just stopped shooting or maybe it is just about to fire another round in the nazi's skull. who knows you decide.
