This is a fiendishly good screen platformer.
I love how the levels evolve: Rather than presenting the player with an entirely new level that looks sadistically difficult, elements are added and changed until -by about the 60% mark- you're saying to yourself "holy crap I passed *that*?!"
Persistent blood... reminder of failure. All the sweeter when it's removed when you pass a level.
