Reviews for "Ghost Light Lost Levels 1"

soo hard

Comacolors responds:

From your review and a few of the scores I've been getting I'm guessing I didn't do enough to explain what this is.

These are levels made of everything that was too hard for my first game, Ghost Light Part 1. If you never played Part 1 this game will be nearly impossible. I had put a message like that in the game it's self but I got worried that would annoy the player and took it out, it's looking like that was a major mistake on my part.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy my game, I hope this won't sour you on my future work.

Thank you for the feedback.

I utterly love games like this! I'll be sinking my teeth into it when I've got spare time, but what I'm seeing now, it's amazing! Good work indeed. =)

Comacolors responds:

Awesome, I'm glad you like what you've seen so far. I would recommend starting with part one if you haven't played it yet, since it introduces the characters and game play mechanics and isn't as brutally hard.

I really hope you enjoy my games. Thank you for the input.

Finished it Hard Mode!

Even though the first level is the hardest of them all in my opinion. Great game, hope to see more soon.

Comacolors responds:

Awesome! I'm really glad you liked it.

I did make the first level a long time before any of the others, so I ended up playing it a lot more. That may well have seriously skewed my sense of how difficult it was, so I'll definitely try to keep that sort of thing in mind in the future.

I really appreciate the feedback, thank you.

Well, this surely *is* harder than the first version. Way too hard for me; I'm not *that* big fan :) But still, it's a nice little game.

Comacolors responds:

I totally understand. Games this punishing aren't something a lot of people really enjoy, which is why I chose to tone down the difficulty for the main game. I hope the extra back story I put in made this at least kind of worth it for you.

Part two will be around the same difficulty as part one, so I hope you'll enjoy that more.

Thank you for the input.

Ahhh great game! I enjoyed it like the last one. This was very challenging!!! I really enjoy this stuff! Only bad thing is, that its too small to view... Wish it was stretched a bit more.

I like the concept of lost levels, thanks for the game!!! Look forward to more of your future content.

Comacolors responds:

I'm really stoked that you enjoyed it, that's very encouraging to hear.

This installment kind of ballooned on me and took longer than I expected, so I'm really worried people who liked the first game will have a hard time jumping back in.

I can see where you're coming from with the resolution, especially with this style of game play. I feel like I'll need to maintain this format for part two for the sake of consistency, but after that I plan on exploring some different approaches.

Again I'm really glad you liked it, thank you kindly for the feedback. Work on Part 2 is underway and I'm hoping to have it out in a month or two.
