Could have been better

- Too long. After a while it started to get a tad boring.
- Having the shadow man show up randomly was a terrible choice. In the beginning he was kinda scary, then he just became a nuisance, not scary at all.
- This idiotic system of take/use/see. I don't understand why you people do it. When I click on a damned door, I want to open it. When I see a key on the floor I want to take it. When I see a painting on the wall I want to look at it. Constantly having to switch between different actions was a humongous pain in the ass.

That being said, the overall ambience, the story and the very occasional somewhat interesting puzzles (the whole going into the past to change the future was pretty neat) were enough to keep me playing to the end, but it could have been way, way better.

It has the kind of stuff that make a good game: a nice sound, a thrilling story - but most of the interactive things the player can do are repetitive and meaningless... i don't like to keep searching and searching when 90% of the objects are useless, their description is boring, and specially when the ending is so unrevealing.

I have no complaints about this game. The best thing about is is the soundtrack. Of all the games I've played on this site, this has the best soundtrack.
