Reviews for "Ederon: Elder Gods"

Um, why is there a battle in single player where your opponent uses so many goddamn counter spells? I mean you can't even make your own deck yet and your opponent counters all attempts at damage.
Please fix this.

mistermind responds:

Fixed.

I gave it a go, but I can't say I really enjoy it myself. Something about the mechanics of it just seems off to me. The artwork and music are fantastic though, that was done very well. The gameplay itself seems like I'm constantly getting a dirty trick pulled on me. I mean, I play a lot of Magic: The Gathering so that's not too uncommon but it's different if I actually know what's going on and if I actually have options to deal with said tricks. As is, I just don't know what's in the deck nor how to effectively use it. I guess that might be a learning curve thing but it all just seems kind of like you're thrown into this thing without understanding any of what, the frick, you are exactly dealing with.
It's crazy that everything I bring out gets mashed in pieces by the enemy's attack but I can't choose to take the damage if I wish? I have to sacrifice the weapon/armor I need to use the ability that can only be used if you have said weapon/armor? I'm still at 20 life, I'd rather take the damage and be able to use the cards effectively next turn instead.
Also, for Gorrick's Head-Dress (or whatever) it says that if an opponent blocks my axe, untap it. I had the Head-Dress and and halberd (classified as an axe on the card) and this did not happen.
Either way, I can see how this game can appeal to a lot of folks but I just don't like the way it plays. I know that's a personal flavor thing but still, it does not feel fluid at all.

Ohk game i guess, REALLY boring though

good idea but i didn't think it to be a great game.. 2.5 rating for me which equals gay sauce if you think about it.

The game was fun, but very buggy. In the course of 2 hours I had to refresh the page 3 times because the game froze, or would not let me take a turn. I experienced one odd glitch where my opponent, in the single player campaign, got to take turn after turn and ended up drawing out his deck. Would be great if it didn't freak out.
