the controls are bad, at least with jump control and directioning, the music is very retro, a mix of chip tune and some adlib vibe. good atmosphere. i cant help but feel your trying to live up to Gyossait. all in all its ok, i wish the controls were more natural.
I've never felt there was a more appropriate time to use the word but I felt this game was pretentious. From the title to the dialog, it screamed "I have deeper meaning, see? Aren't I something to ponder?"
Good gameplay. I felt the boss battle went on a bit long. I like 'endurance' trials but this boss only had two phases and both were easily managed. Because of this, having to go through only the same two phases almost five times felt repetitive.
Either cut down on the battle time or give the boss another phase, another attack pattern that can at least spice things up a little bit.
Based on the demo, its a well put together game but not one that begs me to play further.
Great game! Love the Mega Man-like gameplay and boss battles and the Contra controls. Can't wait for the next one.
Controls are terrible. Double jump doesn't get me out.
