Reviews for "Shinobi Quest"

Rather cute game :) I could've done without bloody brains and eyeballs, but otherwise the graphics were nice and the music cool, the solutions not very logical but as long as I can retry again and again it's not that bad, and the failures are quite funny :) One annoying issue is that some places required pixel hunting.

This game so cooooool~

Argh. Linear and flashy to point of absurd.

Creative Kill Chamber... with ninjas

I enjoyed it, it has some of potential, but found it a little redundant

Trial and error systems are nice when the trials in question have some relationship with the real world. This is why puzzle games are nice because of the sense of satisfaction a player gets from solving a puzzle through a-b problem solving. When puzzles have no bearing on logical problem solving, they totally lose their appeal. You may as well make a game where the player chooses from a choice of a.) and b.) and then a message is returned that informs the player of their correctness. I'm a fan of stick figure animation when its appealing on the basis of an ironic sense of underachievement. This tries too hard and fails miserably.
