This game has a lot of potential; passable story, good art, interesting mechanics, and a strong challenge.
However, this game is a bit too much like the old-school platformer-I forget the name, but you had to play a knight navigating a massive number of traps in order to rescue a princess, and you had to execute a properly timed sequence for each trap. It was an arcade game back in the 80's/90's, and they had a rework of it for the Gameboy Color.
Anyway, my point is that this game is too inflexible-each situation has its required sequence of attacks which must be properly synchronized with the placement of your character in relation to the girl, and screwing up either the timing, the attack selection, or your placement by even a little bit kills you.
All in all, I'll probably play this game until I beat it, then never touch it again; too much repetitive hassle. I look forward to whatever sequels you make out of it though.
