I don't usually comment, but this was beautiful! Not only did I watch a great animation, but I just discovered a lovable song. I'm a myth and folklore geek, so i simply go nuts when i see some kind of reference =p.

It's a really good job, that is all i will say.
Interesting how the characters are so happy and these videos have such a comical air. But on the other hand... the darkness that consumes this world has a very terrifying and un avoidable air around it, something about that spreading blackness it just seems so inexpressibly morbid. Really strikes a chord with me and I can't exactly say why. These animations can tell amazing stories. (I can definitely see the inspirations from mythology with the whole unavoidable-darkness vs. goodness-of-humanity motif.)
Very well done, if I might say so. I know this video is consider old now, but it was new to me and I liked it. The content within the video is what impressed me the most about it. What I mean is that how well the story and song coincided, how the facial expressions were completely believable, the great ending, and how well the words to the song blended into the mouth movement. Overall, a 5/5 rating that was well earned.
A simple story concept, but still so profound. I especially liked the many small yet touching aspects- Kitty throwing Corn in an attempt to save him, Huey's brother (?) sacrificing himself and trying to lift Huey to safety. And the look on the three monkey's faces at the end when they saw that Murder was gone. Come back Raven!
