Pretty great game ngl!
Good God. I remember when I discovered this game on Stick Page. So addicting. I can't stress enough how much I played this game. I was 13 years old, and it's still the coolest shit ever. Absolutely adore this title. I wouldn't change a thing!
(Now to explain why I think this)
The visuals are so colorful and eye catching, I especially enjoy the backgrounds and the boss designs. The sound design is just right with sound effects not being too overwhelming, and the guns are at a reasonable volume.
Most (About 95%) of the characters all FEEL different, which is ironic, because if mono-chromed, they'd all look the same. Hell, there isn't even anything your enemies have in this game that you don't get with Westick being a great suppressive fire character, and Staddison acting as a single target shooter. They, of course can take out those annoying Cobalt wall enemies. On the flip side to that coin, we've got Sticorey, the shield producer who is like the slushie's personal cobalt, (playing double duty as an answer to the Azures with his shared shield power.) along with Bristick, who pushes guys back. And once you start mixing and matching the roster when thing open up late game, there are no rules. On new game +, Robo Hokie wasn't the boss, I was. Things are constantly changing in this title with all the characters, and their unique specs and abilities. Fuck it's a good time.
