Reviews for a game of grief

When it finished, I was left sitting for a few moments as to contemplate what the story meant to me. This project shows that grief is everywhere, but it's how you deal with it at that specific time that a difference can be made. As for enjoyment, I liked the demo and hope you complete the entire project when it's more out of convenience. What I enjoyed the most was the two main characters, so far, as being the Mother and Daughter. It's quite a significant relationship duo and interesting that you chose that type of familial bond. Other qualities I enjoyed were the sound effects used; like baby crying, the creeping music, etc. The visual quality was standard for the role you were making it into, and the art within the demo brought the scenes together.

This is really an awesome demo and you nailed the theme you were going for on how to deal with grief.

I really like the concept and the small details around the house and the town really show a lot about the various people. I was a bit confused at the end with the computer glitching, as it may have been a game or simply a scene change, but I'm sure that will make sense in the final project if it wasn't demo only. I would have liked to have seen some sort of interaction with background characters, even if only a reaction by the character or something, but again, I'm sure that will come along with the game. It did paint a solid picture, and the artwork at the end was good. I'm curious to see if that was 'cutscene cinematics' or the game graphics. (Either way, the first art form still painted a good picture-it greatly reduced the horror of individual tragedies in exchange for a broad scope of a dying city.)

Ultimately, I have to say...interesting! I look forward to the game.

its okay with the programming thingy... i made a whole game in a month, but i used an outdated software by accident...i like the concept, nd cant wait for the finished product!!

i only gave you 4.5 star because of the programming but i understand this is just a demo. ive watched the video from the link and seeing your intentions & how the game's going to be executed i think it should be made, i haven't lost anyone close to me yet but it still gives me the impression that i will be prepared for it when ive played the official game or that i get a better understanding of what it is like losing a loved one. so yeah i support the idea in general and hopefully this will be successful :)
