Reviews for "Opium Cop"

Well overall the animation was wonderful. It was very much the norm from you, odd, subtle, and dark.
It reminded me of some old detective movies, they didn't to say much, it was well done, and in my opinion really funny.

I just can't get over how fucked these are.

well, i fuckin laughed, quite a bit. good stuff

This is one of the strangest things you've ever done. I guess it might be strange somehow because it wasn't THAT strange in terms of things you've done before. I guess it's hard to explain. I was just expecting more jokes and wanted more comedy. It also seemed a tad too short for my taste. Nonetheless, it still manages to deliver the goods as the animation and voices are as good as ever.

I felt sad for that guy when he got shot. It was weird to understand some of this, because I thought that when the scene cut to him in the bathroom, it was supposed to represent how he was hallucinating or something. At least it shows you can make all kinds of cartoons. I don't quite get the opium joke. You can smoke anything, so you should be able to smoke opium.

Brilliant.

I think you pulled off the black and white style very well.

Voice acting from you is just the best on NG. Crystal clear to hear and always, always sexy.

The plot was all over the shop, in a good way. I guess that was down to your comic collaboration technique? It bounced around very nicely and it was extremely funny. How he just gets back into the car after the W/C scene was just brilliant. As if nothing happened.

So maybe the car crash thing was obviously going to happen when they detailed the plan, but the manner in which you pulled it off was perfect. Totaly destruction.

The best thing for me was, when, even though he had totally botched the job and asked for a light (again), his partner begrudgingly gave it to him. That little bit of interaction really allows us to see into a friendship (or partnership) and we're allowed to imagine how long they've known each other, or what else they've done ect ect. I think that was really smart and added a certain depth to the otherwise short flash.

Superb ending, how he just walks away. Totally puts the icing on the weird cake.

Another great flash, keep 'em coming!
