Couldn't tell you why that toast is so funny, maybe just because of how surreal it is. Will say, the jokes were OK, leaning toward good, on average, but not quite there. Good job, and with more practice and a faster pace, it could really become big!
I say faster pace because I've notice that the quicker a joke is told, the less time people have to digest it. Some jokes get funnier as you read into them, but when it's done at a faster pace, our brains can usually pick up on what's so out of place in a scene better when we only get quick snapshots of it. Again, this doesn't work for every joke-style, but it does seem to be more effective when you're using the Channel-Flipping method of telling jokes.
