FUN! The character, quirky looking. The scenery, not fancy. But the game play mostly solid (hated the long death when you hit a spike) and the game element that self explain what you should do.
Such a solid and fun game. Got a little frustrated trying to out run that frog but I eventually got it. :)
This is great game making. Hope to see more from you. You have a winner here (IMO).
Actually, I liked this. It obviously needs a bit of artistic polish, but the rope work, running & jumping, platformer element went smoothly enough. I really liked the fact you made it into one huge scroller instead of a lot of little levels. Didn't find any bugs, but that doesn't mean others won't. Sorry to admit I didn't finish it though.
So besides more time adding in pretty things the only slight noticeable is upon death it flashed to load everything. Though it all worked smooth, it just kinda made me go 'oh, well at least it won't remember how many times I was killed by a vegetarian bug'. Not seeing a score or time function kinda left me underwhelmed. All in all, on the right path, just a few 'self competitive' touches and a cleaner layout with some tunes would make it a 4-5 star.
I don't enjoy that kind of games but I must say this one is very well made. Nice graphics, nice actions.
A great game and love the way it moves from level to level as gives it a good flow. It looks a little rough in places like some of the art was a little rushed and some of the levels can get really frustrating but all in all a well made game. I'd like to see a bit more of a story line in it with some cutscenes here and there and although the difficulty build well to the end of each stage I'd have liked to see a boss or two, like the spider level. Ropes were good but a little annoying that you couldn't move up and down while swinging. Wil be looking out for what Crazy Apple 4 will have to offer.
Have you tried to climb a rope while swinging? IMPOSSIBRU! jk.
I'm not the best storyteller so expect my games to have a little story.
