The video doesn't speak to me as religious at all, but I suppose we all view it through our own lens. I'm actually a huge fan of Revolutionary Girl Utena, so I was thinking more of Utena than anything while watching this.
I'm glad you were inspired enough to do this! Utena is a great anime and should be appreciated more.

Hahah! I totally thought the door was going to open and it was going to be Jesus and that this was going to be some sort of parody. I knew it was Jesus, hands down. This is totally written from a Christian perspective, so that's why you missed all your non-religious viewers.
This was a great cartoon, and I think it was a good message for lonely people on Valentines. Jesus is da-bomb, I just don't like Christians very much. :) Good job.

Anyway, excellent theme. As you said, the voice acting could use a little work, but no big deal. Otherwise, it's excellent. Newgrounds is short on Christian content.

An excellent flash! Good animation, and story. My only issue is the one you noted yourself about the sound. The voice acting wasn't bad by any means, but the sound quality was a little hard to listen too, better equipment would fix that, else find a way to let the text tell the story for you so you don't have to actually narrate. Second is that I noticed a lot of grammatical errors that, when added to the rough quality of the sound, made it rather awkward to hear. Other than that, keep up the good work!
