Reviews for "Prosnorkulus"

Holy Whoa.............................

That parade of mindless violence was fucked up over all recogition!!!!!!!!!!
Is there going to be a sequel?

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Thanks and yes.

Prosnorkulus!

The DUBSTEP Viking!!!! Beware Newgrounds! I think we have a dubstep sponsor!

Yo Ryan- Have I told you how much I like this?

Well, a lot. I'm actually afraid that 4k characters will not be enough for this review.

It is uncommonly rare I review anything, and I feel like I used my 1 review for this month already, but whatever. This is worth it. Down to 3.8k already. Yep.

I've watched this at least over 10 times. Every time is better and what strikes me the most about it is the passion and care you've put into it. The details. 'God is in the details' as Stephen Sondheim wound say. Well, Prosnorkulus is God then. I've noticed you flip some images as to fill in the space and also so you do not have to completely re-make a tree or a throne-post. I see no problems with that, especially since the 'precision' used to make everything is intense. Love how Prosnorkulus' one 'social' setting speaks volumes even though he just moves his pupils at most.

The pacing is fantastic. The first time I watched the flash I thought it was over at the first 'Prosnorkulus' break- I was delighted to see it would become a series-type project. The mutilation scenes are interspersed well and often enough to satisfy the salivation of those surely violent spectators, for their sure need for blood surely is a surety. But what's great is, well: the bloody scenes do not fragment the comedy. Prosnorkulus' particular brand of destruction is comic in itself. Here we have a man (well, dwarf) who does not say a thing besides battle-cries and is exactly what we all search for: all action, no bullshit. You mess with him, you die. And he has no problem with it, nor does anyone else. Nor can anyone do anything about it.

My thoughts are scattered, so apologies if this review isn't coherent.

The details again. The part when the demon appears was wonderful. You expect that sort of thing: some crazy-powerful demon to own everyone and battle the protagonist right away. You duped us by cramming the pink guy with TONS of detail and his own cliché 'We'll see what you've got' only to be obliterated by the Pro and open us up immediately to not only his carnage, but his power, and to your comedy: just because we've seen all the types of medieval shows/scenes, e.g., doesn't mean Prosnorkulus is the same.

1.8k now. Sh*t.

"Oooehhh". Precision-man was fantastic. The writing was well-done, Ryan. You had the fat jokes but never gave-up the gore. I was expecting people to say things, like Precision man, but instead got the spiel of OCD-fixing a picture with collecting spit-droplets. Creative, unexpected, fun and DETAILED. It's all in the detail. It's clear to us the audience the depth of your love for this series. One would think it is only involved with the making of the actual dwarf, but you even take the care to draw boobs concisely. Although, who wouldn't I guess.

I usually expect flashes to mess-up here and there, and ended up surprised and happy when yours didn't. You made sure all the soldiers in the beginning were in their proper spots and that they were there to begin with instead of randomly creating them. Even the sword on fat-man was there. The time/place skips were semi-awkward but I got it after a few seconds. It helped that you showed what had happened before. There's those details again.
If you didn't love this flash, I gotta repeat myself, this wouldn't have been superb.

The characters were all fun and quirky, and even the one guy who lasts 7 seconds got a chuckle: "Hooahhh!" as he charges into a fist and axe. That f-in DETAIL! DANG!
Oh and lastly, I liked how you had the medieval thing but then the high-tech thing with the sniper. And the dubstep music fit PERFECTLY. I still dance every single time to it. Truth be told, I actually danced the first time I watched it, when I thought it was over. Got that kind of reaction from me.
A couple of LOL things:
-4 rolls of leather?
-Pro is a Pro: bursts out with only 2 women (prolly wanted to, only reason)
-"he is the only one...": the way it was said.. it's like "only one...yes? continue?" but it's not. Clever.
-Bulls-eye
I was confused about the fighting w/ Precise man. Bandits v Soldiers? Why did Pre. snipe them all?

Huh?

I saw the tent and i thought.... HUH

But anyways the action was fantastic and it really didnt make any sense!!!
Its worth a 10+ but sadly you can only give a 10 for this movie, giving it lower would be a federal crime.

Hilarious, original, I absolutely fucking love the art(specifically the faces lmao), and the humor is also original and great. The only thing needing improvement is the animation itself as i'm sure you know, but you're well on your way because i could see it improving as the clip progressed. overall 5 cause i could never make something equivalent let alone better ^^ keep it up!

P.S. havent seen the second but im about to and i have high hopes!
