This would have been a really fun game, if the ingame components where actually there.
I mean, population.. What population? There is no way to view how many people you have thus
you have no sensation of progress whatsoever, except for the exp bar. Then why make population
a factor, since it doesn't exist?
Also, you cannot name your town. Or atleast I wasn't able to do so. Yet you are supposed to be able to do so. Another nonexistent feature/component there.
The tutorial doesn't teach the player anything whatsoever, except for what every idiot should know by nature. The only useful step it shows, it to build the forest first.
It doesn't explain the game mechanics, it doesn't explain you can drag your builded instances,
and it doesn't explain you should be careful when buying things since you can overspend.
Also, the cycle of day/night vs the progression speed of the game is simply way too slow.
Then ofcourse, as other people have said.. The money counter is broken.
You could have gold here, but you were robbed of that through post game making laziness,
and unwillingness to repair this potentially great game.
I have yet to try the newer versions, but I certainly hope those are actually working as they should
as I'm looking forward to playing it.
