interesting idea, quite funny and increasingly entertaining, even if the animation is very simple - you just want to know what's coming.
the characters being only sprites has its own particular style, though i'd given more points if they were drawn. i suppose the grey background means dull and sad, so i can see why so uniform, though i'd prefer a grey toned picture, maybe with increasing detsails as the boxes multiply. writing the box number can really be left away i think.
the bottom text in a stronger contrasting color, rather dark grey/black than white, might be easier to read.
a little more fine tuning of the animation to the rhythm, and it's cool!

The original song was made through a game called Minecraft, and the player needed to walk around in order to make the music, so whenever he walks, a new track starts.

In my humble opinion, everything here, was just PERFECT.
I'll try to give you something to improve on.
You definitely could have matched up the song with the animation a little better, and the texts at the bottom of the screen seemed to change a little too fast.
Other than that, I loved it. I just loved it. You did everything that needed to be done in a piece like this. The background was added in at the perfect time as well.
For future animations, you could try working on adding a little more animation to it. However for this one, nothing else needs to be added. Thank you for this.
