That little white spot in the center of the ship? That's your hitzone. Any circle/laser that doesn't hit that won't damage your ship.
Also great game, Rete, had a lot of fun and the beat made it feel like I was in some sort of Space Fire at the Disco.

if this game had been made in the 1980s it would be as well know as R-type. i havent had a really challenging game in some time. i dont think ill even get all gold.
Excellent Game!
Let me first say that I had a lot of fun playing this game. The game play is excellent, very challenging, and the music is amazing. I see a lot of scrubs QQing about the difficulty, saying the patterns are unavoidable... every level is beatable without losing a life, although the final boss is pretty ridiculous. The time slow down is a great mechanic (most of the later levels are impossible without it) I often found it more effective to spam the time slow while shooting. Besides the occasional lag which essentially warrants a restart of the level, not really a problem to be honest, this game is superb.
