What PsychicPedo said

Ok, so your excuse is you want to make these fast and easy and shit them out every month if possible... there is no point in doing that if the end result is utter turd, which this was. There are cartoons online which are terribly animated and have shit sound but they can still be hilarious or give inspiration, but EVERY SINGLE aspect of this is just the same old ham I've seen from you a million times before. Don't bother saying 'it's not my thing', I don't like opera or ballet but I can still apreciate the work and talent that goes into it.
I don't need to say what was wrong with this cos PsychicPebble pretty much nailed it.
I've said a million times before I'm not trying to be mean but hey, you never listen.

Kirbopher responds:

"I don't need to say what was wrong with this cos PsychicPebble pretty much nailed it." Then why leave a review at all?

Dude I don't know what else to tell you. I mean I guess if this ends up completely tanking and doesn't go anywhere then "you're right", but otherwise, I'm doing it this way because I WANT to do it this way. I don't feel like spending a month doing a 30-second video with ONE joke and the animation is gorgeous. I'd rather make something engaging and that has a cohesive story; I'm doing this from the perspective of what -I- would want to see and producing it in a way that -I- can easily get it out.

Chris I respect you as an artist and a person, but I seriously don't know what else to tell you. I don't wanna come off like I'm "not listening" because I GET what you guys are trying to get across here, but this kinda comment is translating to "stop doing anything." If the response is overwhelmingly what you and PsychicPebble are giving me, then that's another story. Otherwise, I don't see any reason to stop doing what I love.

Terrible

The overall concept has been done before and done much better; a prime example being Summer Wars. There is no overall interesting plot and I never felt engaged by anything. The characters do not naturally interact with each other and end up having a very force fed relationship.

The designs are extremely uninspired and, for someone who has an education in the art of animation should know better. A thing I've been told quite a lot was that your basic body designs are uninteresting. The best way to do this would be to augment your art style that you already have because you haven't really changed it at all, which makes me feel like you haven't learned much over the last few years; That makes me feel sad.

The gradients and lack of shading on the, almost always, static characters gives off a distinct sign of laziness. I'm sorry but I know for a FACT you can do better than you have shown.

On response to Oney's review:
What's the point of getting criticism if you blatantly ignore it? You should seriously listen to what people have to say and garner their input; I think it would help you out a lot.

Let me reason with you.

I'm really disappointed in your ability to not listen to anything at all.

You have two people who have successfully made a career out of animation, joke telling, and design, and these are the two people you're adamantly choosing not to listen to.

I just think you genuinely don't understand anything about direction, story telling, character development, or visual design, but you're convinced that you do.

Your colors suck. Since the first time I ever talked to you I told you your colors suck and they still do. It's not a choice, it's not a "style," they're ugly. There's no harmony. I can't even describe where to start because it's all so wrong. Please paint or... something. Just get a handle on some color theory somehow, read some books, watch Thundercats.

Your characters are 2 dimensional and I find no joy in watching them. Okay, I get it, that was your choice. Great, but it's still boring. I could choose to put dogshit in a soup because it was my intention but it's still going to be disgusting soup. I find your characters' snarky archetypal "personalities" an embarrassing chore to sit through and I think a little humanizing and something any audience can relate to would add to them greatly. Also motivation helps. And backstory. Who are these people? What do they want? What do they like? Why should I like them?

The story... my god, what is even happening? Typically you set up some kind of clear conflict or motivation for the characters right away but, I don't know, nobody seemed to be attempting to accomplish something and none of the characters aahsdhgjhsgljh THIS MOVIE IS A MESS.

But look, I get everything you're trying to do, honestly I do, but you're failing at all of it. Clearly you wanted to write an engaging story and you failed. Clearly you wanted to make likeable characters and you failed. Clearly you wanted to have an appealing "style" that RPG fans can appreciate and you failed.

Your biggest problem is you can't even grasp the concept that you may be really bad at all the things you're trying to do "on purpose" and you're writing any criticism off as people just not getting it: it's not "our thing." Take a step back and realize that there are some people who deserve to be listened to because they know what the fuck they're talking about. They're not being mean, they're just being honest.

This flash is bad and you should feel bad.

Either you can do much better, or I should just stop watching your flashes.
The art is jarring and weird, its not even good in its own style.
But the most annoying thing is the characters, dialogue and humour.
It's like its written by a elementary schooler who has no imagination at all.
The characters are cheesy, bad and annoying.
The action and story was lame and "tried to be cool, but failed miserably"-like
I watched the whole thing and I wished for Dear God to make the story better after a while. Well it didn't. In fact it went from bad to worse as the flash went on.
Repetetive dialogues man, really? Are you kidding me?
You're much uglier than I imagined, Komamura.

This is not for me

I'm not going to criticize the art, because I think you're aware of how lazy and uninteresting it is. I wanna talk about the writing. The dialogue was awful. I fell like I'm watching some "I can't believe it's not anime" kid's show (ex. Ben 10). This is nothing but cookie cutter characters in an overdone environment. Every scene with Alpha and flamegirl interacting was SO dumb. I get it, they like each other but they're too shy to admit it (I've seen that a million times!). I found nothing interesting for me to continue watching this.
