Great game.
I truly loved this game. And i completely agree with what you said. There's beauty to simplicity. I completely agree. 10/10 5/5. And since im commenting i might has well give some ideas. I think you should add some more candy such has speed increase and any other ideas you think of for candies. Oh and you should make the shield last a tad longer. But other then that it was a absolutely great game. And good choice on basing the character on boo.

The game has a simple construct, but the fun and repeat gameplay is there. This is much how companies like Nintendo operate. It is more on the fun and simple gameplay as opposed to HD graphics and complex control systems.
A good challenge for the upcoming Halloween festivities. The style of the game and the ghost character look remarkably like Nintendo's Super Mario 'Boo' as well.
