An awfully ruined potential
I sincerely hardly think of this game as any good, but the thing is, the idea is pretty bright, and it has a lot of potential; but it has to be remade, and I mean pretty much from the scratch.
The story itself sounds interesting, but you went a very wrong way about telling it, and the perspective is pretty damn awful too. It would be much neater if we had a more organized interface instead of that weird first-person view (which is pretty much pointless, considering this isn't a FPS), so I don't have to click about a gazillion times to go from some data to an object and similar. Take a look on, for example, Rebuild (2) which also happens to be about zombies - quick and simple gameplay.
The voice acting is very annoying, as we could pretty much do a much faster and better job reading the story progress by ourselves, instead of waiting for the text to scroll down so we can read it all. Sorry, but you wanted a lot of time narrating all that text.
The other thing is the animation, which while good, is absolutely unnecessary. It takes way too much time out of the game.
And some, if not most of the interactions are very boring, and it takes so much time to find an interesting reaction. The task to find about 40 neutral reactions (which are pretty much non-existent reactions) is plain silly. I don't want to watch zombies getting bored with stuff so much.
And last but not least, it would be much better if you actually were a scientist on a task that didn't just happen to get presented with a huge cage of zombies. If you could actually catch them by yourself, it would be a small but nice addition to the whole zombie-like atmosphere. :(
