Reviews for "Flash Shadowgate"

Very well done port.

I'd like to note that my score is for the quality of the flash port, not for the game itself. This port is dead-on where it counts and makes some acceptable changes for the move to flash. Shadowgate, on the other hand, hasn't aged well at all. It seems that logic as applied to point-and-click adventure puzzles wasn't invented until the 90s :-P Still a fine adaptation regardless.

larrymcduck responds:

Thank you. I tried to mimic the game as best I could as well as add some flash aspects. My brother and I are working on a sequal that will add a lot more to game play.

WOW

dude amazing redub i still haven't beaten it...

larrymcduck responds:

Thanks. I wish you the best of luck.

what the hell

me and my sister was just talking about this like not even 2 Min's ago and now u bring it back we must have some string power cause this it not the fisrt time.

p.s thank you for the game.

larrymcduck responds:

You're very welcome. I love old Nintendo games and wanted to set the scene for the sequal. My brother is writing the story and I'll be programming it. Look forward to it in the following months. Thanks again.

Yay!

Retro is awesome. The story was cool, the music was completely 8-bit, and the fight system was simple. For a retro game, it was almost perfect!

larrymcduck responds:

Thanks. I kept it as close as possible with some flash aspects. A sequal is in progress. There was a Shadowgate 64, but it wasn't an acutal sequal. Thanks again for the review.

Fix this up

It would be better if you could move or there were an instructions included. Until then, 0.

larrymcduck responds:

Aparently you didn't play the original. You couldn't walk around any room then, and I wanted to keep that.
