Very nicely done game
This is a great game because you have no idea what is going to happen next. When I saw the meteor, I thought it was a game where I would have to run away from it. It probably would be a less entertaining game if I did that. The graphics in this are really well done, especially with how the character moves. I would have been pretty bad if you couldn't jump. Another example of how unpredictable it is is with the boss fights. I thought it would be more epic than a puzzle game.
It is of course an awesome puzzle game and it's amazing how so many genres are combined here. Who knew something with this title would be so long? The music is nice and gives off a pretty authentic and somewhat calming tone to the player. It's always nice to see my username there. I hope this gets more publicity.
I want to finish this game but...
I found this game to be very interesting, i would love to finish it as it has a very deep and meaningful experience, and i find that i really like the questions and the battles as they are very thought provoking, i would even like to play through the game several times to see how many endings i could get, playing it through the first time how i really feel and hold that as my true answer and then just seeing the different possibilities unfold.
Unfortunately however, i find the platform aspect of the game to be just a meaningless filler that serves no purpose but to aggravate the players and make the game much longer than it needs to be, i only got into the 3rd level before rage quitting the game because i hate platforming with sticky controls and environments that don't work the way that they should all the time.
really brilliant concept
I really liked how this game started and how fast it gained so much popularity (looking at those players walking around). Story intrigues me and I want to know what is awaiting at the end, but... I gave 4/5 stars maybe too quickly (and 4/5 stars are a lot coming from me). What nearly kills this game is really, and I mean REALLY bad controls. I just came to the 5th Body level and I'm going nuts when I jump and find myself falling for stiff jumping and controlling player on tiny platforms is hell itself, when I reach platform or edge sometimes I can't grab to them, or many times I just fallen from them for no reason. It's really frustrating and I kinda want to drop this game for now and maybe return later, cause I care about story.
Other than that I enjoyed board game challenges the most, that was a great idea to incorporate it in the whole game.
By the way, I get unusual lag when playing platform levels and some buggy animation. Sound effects are to wild in this game too. I can hear boulders crashing or making rumbly sounds even when I'm far away from places that could make those sounds.
Well, off to try again and beat the crap out of the Body spirit.
Clearly a very intricate game with a lot of thought that has gone into it. The loading times can get on your nerves sometimes (actually quite often) but when you start playing you cannot fathom how deep the game is. Delving into secrets and philosophical questions of the body, mind and spirit, this game challenges not only your physic solving skills but your thoughts on death, life and beyond. The art is simple and very clever for the backgrounds needed, the game seems to have an community that you can somewhat interact with (still exploring this), and I can't wait until the end of the end.
