Cerrax - Top Gear Symphony

First Impression; "If this is East West, perhaps I've been ordering the wrong thing"
The string samples sound REALLY fake---And I believed the drum's NOT to fit in at the beginning. I loved your brass part, and it sounds more real than most things I've heard here.

Some of the other parts were done nicely, however.
I don't think the techno and the orchestra fit well together, what I'd like to see here is a pure-orchestra version with a bit slower tempo.

You're more talented than most people here, and I see you've been submitting to Rama's "ThaSauce".
I'm a friend of some of the people over at there.
Anyways, To me you're a welcome addition, but there's as with the most of us, still room for improving.

Thanks. I actually like the harsher reviews. It gives me stuff to work on for next time :D

Basically everything you said has been covered by other people on OCR and ThaSauce (you should submit stuff!) This was a piece I did the same day that EWQLSO came in my mailbox so I didn't do a very good job with the production end of the song :P

Is it just me or does this rock?!

Did I ever mention how clear your audio sounds? I have never really listend to the original and if I have, I can't remember it but this sounds so awesome and I love the techno! It all has such a nice touch to it and I can't stop listening. I have listened at least three times now and can't get over it. All the instruments sound so clear and realistic. This will be featured in a movie or game on Newgrounds, I guarantee it!

One thing I like about this is that it doesn't sound too techno. In fact it sounds a lot like a classical song with some techno added in. Either way, it's a pretty interesting song with lots of diversity and some intensity to it.

it was really good

It was a very nice remix. Very calming and mistical. Something you might hear in a fantast movie. The problem was is it was short and you didnt write the song so thats what hurt you.
