Reviews for "Dimension Diver"

pretty good

not bad at all its a good game

pretty solid game

Playing on hard mode and trying to decide on whether to build up health or run through a level was a great way of stopping a player from just plowing through the game. It was really addicting attempting to string combos together and it called back to mario and sonic eras of doing the same. The boss has a really cool "robotnik" like feel as each encounter caused the beast to add a new attack to his arsenal and cause players to adjust their strategy to taking him/her down. the music was fitting with the abstract environments and art of the characters. I really enjoyed this title! one poke of criticism though is that moving left and right cause the camera to move before the character and causes a slight delay to deciding on where to land and throws me off at times, also I wish there were some way to power up that dash move so that I can combo things a lot better without just relying on jumping to get combos. making it last a bit longer or cause the character to hop up at the end of it would make it more beneficial to use rather then simply something to use to stay in the air longer.

Nostalgia at it's finest

This game made me reminisce about the classic platformer games like Mario or Sonic. The character designs even evoke some of Sonic's baddies, and the platform hopping reminded me of some of Crash Bandicoot's levels. The graphics are fluid and gorgeous, the sound and music are very ethereal, and the overall gameplay is nothing short of awesome.

My one small gripe is that the controls are a wee bit sensitive, especially when dashing. If this small tweak can be fixed, then this would be absolute perfection.

Good game, though...

First, I have to say I give you major props on the animation. 10 stars for that alone. The graphics are awesome. I like the game, I think it was put together well, but for me I got a little bored after awhile. I think if there were things to collect on the way in-between the monsters, it would make it more interesting and my attention span would last longer.
I agree with Zombieslayer123454 that it is a lot like Mario and Sonic, mostly Mario to me with how the worlds are set up. Not a bad thing, there are a lot of similar games out there, just an observation.
The controls took me a moment to die a few times with the sensitivity, but you get the hang of them quickly, so I personally don't think its much to gripe about. All and all I enjoyed the game, though I think it could be just a little more rounded, a little here, a little there. Maybe add a story line as to why this cute little hero is out killin the aliens, just to make it more interesting.
You did a great job regardless! =]

Awesome

Definetly is a mix of Mario and sonic, as Zombieslayer123454 said. I love the concept of going through dimensions, because you can create any kind of world.
