Grent responds:

Glad you liked it so much! Look forward to the sequel, which will be coming out... eventually.

Now that's different

It's nice to see you submitted something for the NG Game Jam, and boy was it elaborate! The hardest thing about this was that it was just so hard to understand. At least it was an originally original idea. Seriously, of all the thousands of games I've played here, I think it's the first one that has ever had the player use morse code! As I am a quick learner, it wasn't that hard to get used to it. I still had some trouble though, particularly when I had to select one of the two guys to attack.

The graphics are fine, but are a bit impressive given the small amount of time you had to make this. The music is also good because it gives off a good triumphant feeling to it. More people should make World War II games! I guess judging by the title, it was supposed to be a parody of Super Mario RPG. Then again, I've never played that game or even watched someone play it.

Grent responds:

Actually, the "super" was really a combination of parody of the fact that (because of Super Mario Bros.) a ton of games unnecessarily use the word and the fact that "Morse Code RPG" sounded a little to plain and, quite frankly, not silly enough for my tastes. Glad you had fun, and thanks for the review!

it's great

It's really amazing to come with such a game with the 1 button limit. I get to learn the morse code at the same time!!! XD Graphics and music are fine, and thanks a lot for putting in the quality function. The only one downside is where u have to keep leveling up or u're probably gonna die somewhere in the game. (but like u said, it's pretty easy to level up *yay*)
keep up the geat work! :D

Grent responds:

Thanks for the review! I'm glad to see that new people are still finding this periodically. I realize that the lack of checkpoints really turns some people off from the game, and that makes me kind of wish I had put them in from the start, but ultimately I'd like to put the effort I would use implementing those towards a new project. Glad you liked the game!

Very Good, But!

I loved the game, but I didn't like the Run option. It should let you "run". I failed three times doing it haha and of course died

Grent responds:

This is probably the last "bug" that I will fix for this game (unless some of the medals end up not working). I'd like to say I'll get to it soon, but honestly my current schedule is so wonky I don't know when it'll happen.

Love it.

I love how unique the combat and commands are.
I think that this game needs a sequel! Maybe even some multiplayer?

Grent responds:

I'm not really sure how multiplayer will work, but a sequel is definitely on Des and my list of projects we want to get around to. Glad you had fun!
