one thing though, wouldn't the creeper's explosion have broken the diamond ore? I would say that was lucky... especially since he didn't die.

1.) Maybe. I've had instances where materials just disappear after an explosion.
2.) Very lucky. Good thing he had his leather helmet on!

My friends check out random servers when we find IP's. Something Awful has this epic one that can take days to explore. Unfortunately I do not have the IP on me :(
