Reviews for "Twenty Fourteen"

If your dream is to become a composer, I hope you have the will to achieve it ;)

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks brother, really appreciate it.
Good luck to you with your endeavors as well!

Holy cow! This is basically what I've been looking for. Im starting a youtube channel and just need a 20 second upbeat and fun chip tune song for the intro! If I could use this for it I'd be so grateful.
Its fun, melodic and upbeat and it's great! Like, 00:54 - 1:15 is all I'd need!

ShinsukeIto responds:

Yeah sure thing, you can use it as much as you want!
Just be sure to link me the video when you're done - I want to see the final product :3

Thanks for the review!

Enjoyable, good melody, nice construction and placement of sections. I can imagine a super cool high-quality remix of this.

I have big dreams but I'm more concerned about avoiding a lifelong nightmare than finding the big dream. I fear my current career path is out to kill my mind, so maybe I should try something different. :|

If "Twenty Fourteen" says that I don't have the will to achieve my big dreams, "Flavored Instant Noodles" says that, dreams or no dreams, I will find the place that I belong.

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks a lot for the review!
Here's hoping that you achieve your dreams and things turn out ok :)

Ha! That's some deep stuff there - and I like it!

This not only is longer than most of your works, but feels longer as well. The instrumentation is varied and dynamic, and the 'something missing' that I often find myself complaining about in your songs is filled in with multiple layers of music. I really like that you have moderately paced percussion to keep the beat moving along while your sustained notes really draw out the length.

Like most of your stuff, the timbre is hyper-resonant to the point of being a little grating, but that's your style so I won't knock you for it. I think a grainy version of this song would sound really awesome though, perhaps if it sounded like it was coming out of an old radio or from the next room over?

Really great work, it sounds like you put a lot of work into this!

ShinsukeIto responds:

Thanks so much for the review! And yes, I have been trying to find that missing piece, that 'professional quality' - if you will - that many polished musicians seem to have.
As for the feedback, I'll be sure to experiment with different effects in the future, especially the 'old radio' one... that sounds interesting to recreate.

Thanks as always Kwing, and HNY!

nah its not so good but that song can be a new my little pony song

ShinsukeIto responds:

Ha alright, I'll keep that in mind.
Thanks for taking the time to review!
