Reviews for "Samurai Vs Ninja"

Pretty cool...

Great flash you got here. While the characters looked a bit awkward sometimes, I still very much enjoyed this fast-paced battle.

Oh, and if you ever make another one, mkae the ninja win. They're cooler.

meh

yeah what dargon11 said

ninja should have won

this is just me being critical, but the entire aspect of a ninja was their training to kill samurai quickly and effectively, even the weapons that they have such as their swords are made so that they can pull their blade faster and kill the target, a ninjas true training is do anything to kill the target, if historicly accurate, the ninja should have won

k just some complaints...

Animation was good, i wasn't lost in the speed, but it was a bit jerky between the camera movements, so just work on that as well as smoothing out kicks or swings, in real life a sword would take about 1 second to go from starting position where the swordsman is standing at rest with the sword pointing up, to the finishing stance where he has swung and the blade is now facing down, the tip near the ground. This is still fast, but its a noticeable difference. Second, if a ninja has been exposed to the enemy, like the start of your flash,
A) he isn't a ninja,
B) he was previously engaged with another ninja, and is now showing wear from battle
C) he became a ninja to assassinate that person, and at the last minute decided to make it a fair fight, therefore see point A, because everyone knows ninjas don't seek vengeance, they seek peace, through quick painless deaths to those who cause violence.
So while the fight was good, your background needs a little work.

Ehh...

The pacing is fairly good, but it feels jerky and stiff at times. As an example, when the ninja delivers the close range palm explosion, he comes into a fully upright standing position. The final blow is also lacking, not because it is abrupt (rather that's the good part) but because it isn't clear.

The ninja's actual fall is lost in the midst of the samurai's sword flourishes, so the ending feels kinda weak.
