Okay, biased? Maybe. But that was great fun to play.
I think the only thing I'd like would be different ways to jump on your enemies. Maybe by tapping the down arrow key along with another key you can perform different manoeuvres like a stomp, judo chop, butt slam.. I don't know, these are just coming off the top of my head. With a little more thought maybe you could incorporate some different, unlockable cool moves in there.
the shot gunners pissed me off, great game Yo!
i like the feal of the controls, and the simple (mario style) just pounce on them was kewl. the way you died was nice to, i even got hooked on it for a while, trying to get them all not leaving any behind. the freaks with the shot guns like, pissed me rite the hell off.
"i would run and jump at them, but go to far (over there head) into the direction he is facing and then he just shoots my ass. im like "OMG" lol
other times i would run rite into the back of him and my little man would fall over and then the shot gunner turns around and pops my ass.
i wanted to give it a (8 star rating)
-1 because the game just pissed me off, by the 20th time i started back at the begining because the same dude with the shot gun killed me, i was ready to rip my own toung out.
-1 because we don't get shot guns to do the same shit they do to us back to them, i mean even Mario got "fire balls"
but i gave you a 10 because i still haven't played the game all the way through and you might get guns later and i would really look like an ass if i deducted a star for something i was just to lame to make it to, AND because watching the little man eat was worth (10 stars) by it self, i laugh my ass off.
all in all... i believe its got potential, and was worth the time i spent playing it and the review i submitted. way to go

Excellent, but easy.
This was a very entertaining game, but a little on the easy side. There were too many extra lives for my liking and there weren't a lot of tricky hazards (aside from the room on fire near the end of the game.) I thoroughly enjoyed the level design and vibrant backgrounds, and the boss looked amazing. Make your next game a little harder though. I loved it, thanks for making it.
