Reviews for "§Arbiter§ - Dark Winds"

Impressive

O_O

What can I say, I waltsed in, wondering what I would find, and saw the 405 downloads with 16 (now 17) reviews, and wondered how this could be?!

I can quite hear now why.

It starts off AMAZING epic. Great percussional works. A good deal better then most percussional works i've heard in a looong time.

You have pretty sweet tonal contrl with those swelling french horns? It really drives an image home.

I put all my emphasis on melody and mood, and I think you've nailed both of these, hard!

Neat Flute sound. I also really liked the choir.

This song leaves me quite speechless. Awesome stuff man.
5/5 from me man, keep them coming ^^.

epic

Well, since you've given me so many kind words, I though id return the favour. The beginning is very epic, which made me begin to fall in love instantly. Your instruments all stood out very well in the mix, and the overall sound was powerful. Then it stopped and there was a very strange blowing noise that scared me a little, but was still good, lol. Then back to the epic strings and drums. And then the choir! Im just a sucker for choral arrangements. One thing though...near the end what was that clicky noise?

What can I say though...overall, brilliant!! You dont have much submitted, but what you have is pure gold, 5's all round!!

Now this sounds like a computer game!

Ah the return of those drums you love!

The brass was a bit muted, but brass is almost impossible to get right on a synthesiser.

That's a little quibble really, and only one I'd make to someone who obviously has some talent!

Nice

Pretty cool piece of music. Love the choir and the chimes are interesting... I could definitely see this being used for something.

Another impressive piece

The introduction again was very well done, the string samples you use are perfectly appropriate for this march-style music. In all honestly, I found that the triangle solo minorly clashes with the battlefield emotion that was built-up during the introduction. Independant of the rest of the song it sounded nice, but when I listen for diversity in a song I still like to hear a small amount of consistency with supporting melodies. Still excellently done, I know that if you kep this up you will sit with the classical great's on the audio chain. Great Work Arbiter,
