Reviews for "Hills of Tuscany"

Wonderful

No1r, you never fail to deliver great music and I don't hesitate to consider you one of the greatest artists on the portal. It's nice to know that there are artists that still retain some of emotion and humanity in their compositions, something I appreciate even more when surrounded by mainstream music, most of which is over-produced to a frayed mess. I'm thankful that you choose to share your talents freely on the net for any music-lover to see the superfluous "fluff" of music cast away and experience the smooth clear sphere of thought and emotion that you share with us.

No1r responds:

Thank you, my friend.

Maestro!

Great improvisation piece. Nice melodic lines and great chord progressions. Very original sounding. I can't help but to always compare to pieces\composers I'm familiar with and take it as a compliment this reminded me of Erik Satie in some ways. nuff said :)

No1r responds:

Oh yeah i really would love to have Satie's abilities ;)
Thanks Paul!

probably this ilke the most

probably this i lke the most of yor works(and Urban Color).this sounded like real piano, not the usualy fruity stuff...i like very much the chord progression, remind my of one of my favourite composers,Egberto Gismonti

No1r responds:

Thanks again Sorohan!
I periodically check your stuff, and i think everyone read this, should do the same..;-)

No1r - Hills of Tuscany

You reviewed one or two of my works, So I found it nice to review back :)

First Impression: "He really likes to use dissonance in his pieces".
This has a general Jazz feel because of your chord structure, and I can hear you're a good pianist/piano-solo writer.
This is not the first time I assume.
I found that first change a bit weird though.
Didn't really like it.
The one from before to when your right hand comes in.

Anyways, It sounds like movie material.
Great work No1r, I'll check back here once in a while.

No1r responds:

Thanks Arbiter for reviewing my work!
This is the first time i write something for piano solo. I am not a pianist, i study classical guitar instead, but i obviously love the piano (probably the most complex and complete solo instrument).
Music was written in Fruity Loops, as well as dynamics, 'cause i can't actually play this (simple) stuff..with my two hands.
Thanks man! :)

Excellent quality worksmenship

Great emotion through the entire piece. The key change addes another dimension to the attitude of the song. Volume sensitivity makes diversity and provides consistent interest to the listener. Great Work 5/5

No1r responds:

Thanks mate, really.
Knowing that someone likes your music is something magical as an emotion transfer, something that words can not explain.
