I also always wanted to make games for the gameboy but was too young, unfortunately I don't have the skill to make an homage like this. great work.
I beat it but I may play it some more as there seems to be more hidden in this game. I know from the medals that I missed the secret area but I think there might be more. like some numbers I saw around the maps.

Ehh..
It was cool, brilliantly made. But it just gotta' little boring. Maybe if it was a REAL Gameboy game (which I do have a Gameboy) I'd enjoy it more because I have less of a selection of games and would appreciate just having ONE game.

Nice concept, but the objectives aren't explained, so you're wandering around trying to do things without have the slightest idea WHY.

If you, you know.. READ the story (which is dished out in sections no longer than 8 words) it's quite obvious you are meant to save your cat. And you need keys, and fuel to do so. In fact you can't even enter the 2nd room without having been told all of this.
