You my friend, have gotten into a concept that is absurdely difficult to deal with, that results in all the wierd answers from players.
Having no going back paths make people face a bit of their uttermost fears, and the most despairing and frustrating situation.
And, may i say, is something extremely relative to the person who deals with it. In my case i'd know theres no such thing as a hopeless situation.

Idea wise, this is great. The concept is brilliant.
The trouble, is that I believe this game to be un-winnable.
I skipped work on the first day, and died in the office.
The guy walks way to slow.
I like the story and the direction you're taking, however the presentation wasn't great.The game was very slow. There were several ways to fix this such as, making it a point and click adventure game, or making the visuals good instead of the pixelated graphics. I understand your reason for not having a replay button, but this just left me with a bitter-sweet ending. (I got stabbed in the beard) The endings should have an epilogue like "The scientist died protecting his family" or something.
Wonderful.
I absolutely love this. It removes the idea that life has a replay button and makes the player really think about the actions he/she has chosen to take.
