Excellent game!
Ah, it was satisfying to beat this. MetaGeometry's Tron-form was especially challenging.
It's been a while since I played snake, reminded me of my first cell phone. The innovative additions to the gameplay really made it unique, especially the bosses. Plus it looked good, simple but the colours were effective.
- I would question the distribution of the levels. Some of the earlier episodes had some difficult levels while there were some very easy levels in episode 4. I would have thought there should be a gradual increase in difficulty as you progress through the game.
- Also some of the 'harder' levels in episode 4 just took too long to complete because it was more about waiting for the right colour ball to hit the same colour block by chance rather than any factor of skill. For example, level 4-9 wasn't difficult, but the only reason I was dying was because I was losing concentration waiting for all the blocks to be destroyed. A successful run of a level on a simple game like this shouldn't take 15 minutes.
The music was probably the most impressive aspect of this game. Loved how the impacts with blocks determined the notes that were played. It just worked. It's rare that I play a game for long periods and not want to turn the sound off.
Tip for those trying to get the medals for growing long snakes (oh the innuendo):
It's easiest to do this in Classic Mode.
Can't wait to see your next game.
As a matter of interest, how many medals are there for this game?
I managed to find 8 but I'm not sure how many segments the longest snake is expected to be?
