Great, but one problem.
Every time I try to beat the boss without upgrades, my tendency to mash the A button always makes it so I accidentally get an upgrade when I die. I see absolutely no reason for A to function as a "buy this thing" button given the use of the mouse. It's a minor quibble, but considering that it's otherwise perfect and it's made me restart many times on a slow computer, thought I'd bring it up. As always, good work.

Fun and Challenging
The first thing I did was beating the boss without upgrades. You really need to know every single movement of the boss encounter in ordner to obtain this medal.
I died like 25 times until I figured a perfect way to kill all 5 eyes without getting hit, using a shield etc. awesome.
Nice music and simple but good controls
Really great game
I found this to be a really great game. Started out slow at first but picked up the pace as you upgraded your character. Please continue to make games like this!
