Reviews for "Wolftacular NGADM Round 3"

I love it! Has a great melody, in my opinion it should be some sort of like love song! :D I dunno, you do what you want!

Wolftacular responds:

Hahahaha, thank you so much! Your comments are always awesome!

Nice!... this sounds like it could be an opening theme for an 80's sitcom, or a happy song in an anime :D. I like how you change the percussion and the feeling of the song changes completly. And the piano in the end... beautiful!
Oh man... this round is gonna be a dificult one...

Wolftacular responds:

Thanks for listening and commenting, glad to hear you enjoyed it!

So this song wasn't finished? I couldn't tell. I think you did well with the deadline. It's always difficult. This song takes some interesting turns. I like it very much. Stays interesting all the time and holds your attention. I like the parts at 1:58 to 2:25 and from 3:57 onward best. Great ending btw. I don't often hear endings that good. I have difficulties writing good endings myself. The rest is not bad either and perfect for build up. Now you mention it, I think this song would've been even better with vocals. If you planned that, I hope you will add vocals someday, because i very much want to hear that.

Wolftacular responds:

I am very pleased to read this comment! It is always flattering to read that someone enjoyed it as much as you did! I specially find pride in hearing that you found it interesting all throughout and that you liked the ending. I'll definitely let you know when I add vocals to it! :D

Thanks for listening and commenting!!

I imagine you took part in some sort of blood ritual and channeled Enya.

I always try to invoke a little Aphex.

Wolftacular responds:

My sister thought the same. I'm flattered! I don't know this Aphex dude, but I'll definitely check him out! Thanks for listening and commenting

I listened to this one on the NGADM playlist without knowing the story behind it. Yeah, vocals could have added a lot, but lacking that you coulda just cut it down to like 2 minutes and played a little more with dynamics, and I think you'd have a much more compelling piece on your hands. The piece is actually much better than you think - the melodies are great and the instrumentation is very enjoyable - the only flaw is that it goes on too long and feels quite repetitive by the end.

Still, good stuff. Let me know if you make a finished version :-)

Wolftacular responds:

Yeah, I did think about cutting it down, but for the last 2 or 3 days I went into "get it done" mode. I stopped making decisions and just worked as fast as I could with what I had in hopes of getting the vocals in on time. The vocals would've helped lead and tie everything together and most likely erase that feeling of repetitiveness.

I appreciate the feedback, and see your points very clearly! Thank you for listening and commenting!
