Reviews for "Ledge: The Spirit Stone"

Great, has potential!

The game in itself is a really great idea. I can imagine it making frontpage in no time flat, but its short, the graphics are sup-par (in my opinion, but that's speaking for myself), and the boss was a pain in the neck. I personally found him kinda hard to kill, especially when he turned blue and I had to get up close to hurt him, but he kept spamming that volcano floor. I didn't win until I had a stroke of luck and he didn't use the volcano floor for a while. Lower the boss' difficulty a little? Otherwise great game.

spec-tac-u-lar!

Great job mate! I had no idea Ledge was ready to go... you should have told me!

as i was playing i was thinking, "Michael should incorporate the 'Simon Says' gameplay seen in God Of War to his flash games"

Lo and behold, the boss battle was a fun testament to that. I think Ledge will make its way into the hearts of Flash Gamers if you fine tune and perfect the addition of the "simon says" mini game... you can even incorporate Mouse Mazes to correlate to a sweet boss kill annihilation animation...

bad glitch

was good until the cave, then it completely went glitchy on me

Hmm

Well the graphics are amazing, the sound is amazing, and the idea is amazing...just feels like something is missing. It feels like I just beat the teaser to an epic game to come. This could seriously be top portal material if you worked on it longer. The engine is phenomenal. The gameplay is great, it just seems like you didn't put quite enough into it. Don't get me wrong, the 10 minutes of gameplay I had were fun, it just seemed kinda linear and boring. If you expand upon this, make a town, some quests, a menu....this could be epic....but like everyone else said, a tad short, easy, and boring. I'm not sure what your plans are, as in your comments you act as if this is a complete game, but man I really think this just has so much more potential than this little single quest here. 8/10.

I liked it.

It definitely had the Zelda 'feel' to it, just not all of it. It kinda felt like one dungeon from Zelda 2. I liked that instead of just going 2d, you went with the sidescroller beat-em-up style. But, yeah, it would have been better had it been longer. Maybe call this the prologue to a longer adventure? XD
