Getting one of the highest scores would be decidedly awesome, to be sure! That's a club that I would love to join. I'm way too critical of my own work sometimes, and this is one of those times. That sinking "this isn't good enough" feeling keeps trying to creep in, but whatever happens it's been one hell of a run and I am content. Then, on the other hand, I think it's one of my best compositions ever. Hooray for conflicting emotions! :P

Damn dude! You're too fast. I haven't even started developing my ideas for this round. I have a really interesting one, but it still on the stage of "don't know if it's gonna work out".
Your song is amazing. I'm a fan now. I love the feeling the piano brings with the melody at the start. I love how it tries to jump between modes but stays aeolian, before the sad slow part.

Haha, thanks! I've been the first person to submit a song in each post-audition round. I try to wait, but I just can't seem to do it. :3 Once a song idea begins to form, it demands almost all of my attention until it's finished. It is a tremendous form of motivation, but equally as exhausting.
Your appreciation of my newest piece really serves to invigorate my spirit as this contest gets more and more dangerous. Everyone is really focused, and the level of talent is incredible. I'm just so happy to still be here, and no words can really describe that feeling. Thank you so much for leaving a review (so quickly after submission, too) and for becoming a fan! I am honoured.
