"Fairly engaging most of the time"
The humor, more so than the story (not including the twist ending with Haruka), kept me playing this all the way through. Every now and then, it is refreshing to see writing that doesn't require clearing the children out of the room. (That is one fierce pet!)
The reason this isn't a 10 is due to the level building. Once the text became repetitive and not worth reading, the battles became monotonous. The upside is I leveled up in just minutes. I assume this is not so much your fault, but more so the nature of a text-based game. Then again, maybe you could have made a more diversed script.
I saw one error. When Mizuki fired an arrow at a fire elemental, sometimes the text was the same as if she had fired at the fire lizard.
Good job! I hope to see something like this game again.
