Fun but the wall jumping really ruined it as I'm sure you know by now, other than that pretty decent. Another thing I don't really understand is why the "retry or quit" menu is navigated using the z button rather than the x button since you do everything else with the x buttons, I'm just nitpicking a bit there though.
Phsychoticbastard is an obviouse troll, since when are games known for having bad wall jumping? If you want to improve then take my advice and make the wall jumping smoother in your future games that involve wall jumping. Other than the wall jumping being fail not bad although I would suggest a bit more detail in the character sprites, this game reminds me of megaman in many ways.
My suggestion for a wall jumping fix is simple, look at pretty much every other game with wall jumping and copy, new super mario bros comes to mind, I'm sure there are many others. It's really iffy having to steer the character in the direction you're wall jumping to and it often times will lead to players steering away from their jumps rather than into them causing the player to jump short.
