Reviews for "Pixel Prophet"

I really liked this game. I wish it were longer though, when it said "Your grail is in another castle." I thought 'cool, more enemies, more bosses.' and then... the grail. I like the retro-pixel graphics and the reference to Mario. Great Job!

the game is pretty fun for its atari graphics and its ok gameplay but I the some of the parts that take extreme skill and just the right spot to make a jump were way too unforgiving like the disappearing bridge part

It sounds like everytime he collects he coin, he immediately gets gas. ._.

Short and simple but entertaining

I know this is a retro game, and wasn't expecting eye-popping graphics or anything. I found the game enjoyable even though my gameplay experience was probably only about 20 minutes to complete the game with all medals. I would've rated the game higher if it had've been longer, if you were granted the ability to backtrack (in case you missed the coins the first time through), and perhaps if a bit more backstory was offered. I am a self-proclaimed medal whore, but I like at least a few medals (secret or otherwise) to be goals you have to actively pursue. All the medals for this game (except the 70 coins one) will be unlocked just by beating the game. But a solid effort nonetheless.

Pretty decent game

A solid contribution. I really love the whole pixelated retro-feel to it. Seeing those primitive looking bugs in all those colors really made me feel warm inside :)
Great job with including the medals aswell, it really made it more enjoyable. You did a good job by making them challening & creative enough.

Altough i do feel that it was a little to easy. Would've been more fun if you actually hade more bosses and a little harder challenges. Also making it atleast 2-3 times this long wouldn't have hurt either.

there definately is alot of untapped potential in here.
