Awesome game, but I wish the demon place had checkpoints. It's lovely and I'm happy I haven't lost anyone important to me or else I would have cried so hard while playing this cause it's so touching.
Hard to get invested in it when I'm busy getting frustrated at the fact that my "demons" killed me for the 100th time.

On the outside anyway. The story was touching, but the controls made it difficult to focus on. Instead I found myself focusing on the lackluster controls and poor game construction. The first half was very enjoyable, but the last two levels with the exploding fruit and the demons were confusing and frustrating, respectively. The controls aren't precise enough for the kinds of jumping the last level asks for. I applaud actual difficulty in games, but if you're just in it for the story, then I recommend scaling down the curve or just making a video. It's difficult to make a game that is both challenging and hypnotically fascinating, but I believe that you have that potential. I hope to see more from you.
