Reviews for "Furfur and Nublo"

well...

good at first, very intresting, but then it gets too hard, and i partucuarly hate level 18

Looks nice at first

Game looks nice at first, but becomes very boring very quickly.
Its just a repetition of moves...

Liked the setting, but also that doenst change at all and therefore becomes boring very quickly...

Good but gets boring very quicky!

This is an GOOD game at first but gets boring far too quicky and doesn't get the most out of this interesting gimmick and because of this it's just not that fun.

+ GOOD art style
+ Interesting idea...
- ...but should have done more with it
- level design is boring and not fun.
- Far too short

5/10

Repetitive

It's kind of the same thing over and over again. You need to vary the levels more.

What's the innovation?

Puzzle platformers where you alternate between multiple specialized characters have been around for ages (even before the internet, if memory serves me right). For the first levels I really was expecting to be surprised with some cool gameplay twist... that never came (unless you count level 25, but that would be pushing it).

The puzzle aspect was close to nonexistant, being limited (for the most part) to filling a Nublo-sized gap in an otherwise obvious path. The platforming aspect wasn't too challenging either. Furfur's controls, however, are one of the really good points of the game. I liked in particular the way you can desperately hop to climb a ledge when you barely miss a jump.

The artwork was indeed nice. I'd be interested to see a more developed game in the same world; perhaps explaining some things like why does Nublo worry about helping Furfur through all these obstacles :)
