Reviews for "ShellCore: Skirmish"

i played my own ship, and won.

yes funny as it seems i did. great game man.

What an amazing game!

I had no idea how good the AI was till I uploaded my ship and fought it. I came very close to losing. What can I say? This game is close to perfect. The difficulty is great, the AI surprisingly good. I love building my ship to look badass. It's games like this that make me wish I didn't hand out so many 5's to other games.
A few points that might improve this game:
1. Have a warp between areas. It's slow moving between areas if your ship is made for combat and not speed.
2. Have separate garages for different ships so you can switch between designs easily. Or a saved design feature.
3. The best way to make money is to spam a 1 on 1 match with a ship full of just weapons. It would be nice if money came a little easier. I never got much of a bonus for anything either.

A truly amazing Strategy game!

The best part about games (In my personal opinion) Is Customization,Game-play, and music. This game advances in each one of those aspects.
The customization is fun, music is awesome, and the game-play is fast paced, but also requires alot of strategy and planning. This mix of game-play is what I think is most fun about this game, as I have felt so much enjoyment in strategically dominating foes with carefully thought out plans and sometimes even just brute force thanks to my massive ship. While this game offers alot, it feels as though it could offer more, Every victory, new weapon, and battle field I came across felt so full of fun Ideas, but at the same time, sort of empty.

Basically, this is a wonderful experience and alot of fun to play, but it will leave you wishing for more, I hope you will create a sequel with alot more stuff in it!

Ep.1 was better, IMO

I'm going to have to echo a lot of sentiment here- that being, this game is inferior to Ep.1, overall.

I like that getting parts isn't totally random- and that shops actually have useful items now. I also like that the ship auto-collects energy when it can, it means the computer isn't grabbing everything when we go head to head over a node.

I don't like the lack of an explorable overmap, or the tiered combat system. Similarly, the ship weight and value limits are bogus, especially considering that they didn't exist in Ep.1.

Honestly, I hope this is kind of just a flier, and that episode 2 is much closer to Ep.1 in terms of gameplay. That said, this isn't a bad game, it's just not as good as it's predecessor.

A 8-bit game.

YET HOW CAN IT BE SO GOOD?!
