only one thing could make it better
if you added it so that when you hit explosive tanks you get a bit of fuel back for your rockets it be amazing, then you could have upgrades for how much you get for each on you hit.

Now what the hell...
...do I need to do to get money from a wipeout?
The game is funny and a definite time waster - so it's good.
The main three concerns:
1. Why don't you get any money from the buildings you destroy with a wipeout?
Where's the sense in blowing up every single chance of gaining another bit of push around you if you get NOTHING from it? Well, except the fun of mass destruction...
2. The later upgrades are very far spaced. You (read: the guy typing this) need to make several jumps before you get even close to a little extra boost or an adjustable ramp or... Think you get it!
3. A description for the smash streak's effect would be very helpful!
