Reviews for "Chrono Trigger Unglued 20"

OMG! I LOVE IT!

i like every part of this ep.!every event:the deal, secret scene,"in future" and etc. was awesome! even if i will old man i will remember CTU forever!

People this is "MUST TO SEE"! this is one of the most coolest series on NG!

P.S. thanks for the credits and nice preloader

Clovis15 responds:

Thanks for helping with the episode's beta-testing.

I may be biased, but I like it sir!

As always, the comedy doesn't miss a beat, and the writing is top notch. I particularly enjoyed the "transaction" between Taban and the Guards. ;)

I really think the animation is getting better, too.

To answer Spielmeister's question in more detail, though - I made the background for Toriyama's Pizza in RPG Maker XP (I purchased a legal copy some time ago for just this purpose - I used one of the default tilesets for it called post town inn). The goku picture was added in post production from a portrait sprites from the second Gokuden RPG on the SNES. So yeah this review was more info based then review based, but uhm yeah - it's a good episode. :)

Clovis15 responds:

Thankyou for the wonderfully informative post.

The latest ep. in one of NG's lesser-known gems

The last episode of the prison break arc doesn't disappoint. Cryo's script shines as usual, and the sprite work is some of the best on NG, particularly the ending credits. If there's anything I could nitpick on, it's that I've always thought that there should be a button that takes you back to the menu, since most people will probably go through the episode again immediately just to hunt for the secret scene. Keep up the great work!

Where did LK get the background for the pizza place? Looks like it could be Dragon Quest 6?

Clovis15 responds:

He made it using RPG Maker. I know for a fact he actually made it, as it went through many stylistic revisions - per my request - before it got to where it is now. As for the tile sheet that he was using to make it, I don't know where he got it from.

awesome moivie

good job

Thank you.
