Because most people don't want to be happy. They're so used to their image that they give off to everyone else, so content, that they don't really "know how". It feels weird reinventing yourself. It's a giant leap. Friends and family would be confused. Old habits die hard?

It's the leap towards the future. I've reinvented myself entirely in the last 2 months... I was depressed for 2 years because of certain situations, and not that I ever contemplated suicide or anything, but I really was a burden on alot of people and it probably would have been easier on them if I'd been gone, not necessarily dead, but just on my own. I was forced to reinvent myself, out of despair. Luckily, desperation led me on a straight course and I'm in a new light. Thanks for being a fan throughout most of that time, because words from BA's (Badasses) like you and my other supportive fans kept me afloat, even if only a little, during that tough time. Needless to say, this song was kind of cathartic for me to make... it means alot to me that people like this. I feel like they're applauding my rebirth, not as a musician but me escaping a pretty horrible time in my life. Again, thanks man, much love.

Laid Back Trance
I sure hope I'll be the first to review this, and to be the 2nd just because of how long I take. I did recieve your e mail by the way, just wanted to wait 'til it got submitted, so I can save the juice for now.
It's very relaxed. With the frequent piano and the great pad to tackle the backround melody, it was very good. And very relaxed. I loved the build up. And too bee honest, it's been a long time coming for this song to be released. A little less then a 2 month break!
I loved the weird ambient feel it had during the middle near the end. And thne of course the build up was always pleasent. I kept waiting for a great ending, and then it came strolling down. Man, I love that ending! Sped up like crazy!
Well, I can't top my "massive paragraphs" the last time I reviewed, and considering I just got out of school, mowed the front and back lawn, trimmed the bushes and went to go visit a couple people, I feel warn out of doing anything else the rest of the day... including big paragraphs. So, I'll just leave a semi-long review, and on occasions such as this, I should be writing a book for your review!
I need to finish my Novel as a matter of fact :/

The sped up ending was a natural feel for me... I don't know how else I would have done it, but that might be me being uninspired. Glad you liked it though, so I guess I went with the right decision. I like to make everything I do slightly weird, be it by making something dirty or playing with a synth that others might find a little strangely out of place... I dunno. I'm miles away from ordinary, or so ordinary it's overlooked. Piano is too good not to use, wouldn't you agree?
